A week with Forza Motorsport 7

Today a week ago Forza Motorsport 7 launched for Ultimate Edition users. Singleplayer was fun and had little to no issues, however a lot of people keen to hop into multiplayer together were plagued with error messages and servers not working. This game is really good so just let me get the bad stuff out of the way to focus on the good. Bad: - Connecting to Multiplayer Lobbies

- Frame rate drops / Lag in MP lobbies

- Sound cutting off while loading in to MP lobbies.

- Switching automatically from Party to game chat while joining lobbies

- VIP membership is practically non existent.

- Information over when Auction house etc will be opened.

These are just a few I can sum up off the top of my head. Turn10 are already in progress of fixing this and I expect all to be solved by Turn10 sooner than later. Now for the good:

Good:

- Handling feel

- Sounds in game! <3

- Overall look of the game

- Driver Gear is a nice little extra

- Mapple Valley is back

- Suzuka is back!

- And there are a few more good things.

Overall the game is good. It's a Forza game and you know what you are getting. I would like them see push the boundaries a bit more and see what they can do with customisation of cars. This is where NFS walks on Forza. Other games like Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2 are competing over that sim feel with Forza, and are winning if you ask any wheel user. For some reason they can't get it just about as right as PC2 and AC, even with Fanatecs help.

However if you like to customise your cars to suit your style and then show them off in drift battles, Forza is the place to be and will stay at the top of the pile of racing games.
